Obento

This was Kiki's bento last Tuesday.

• Bunny shaped ham and cheese sandwhich
• Mashed Potatoes with Gravy
• Salmon flake onigiri
• kamabuko balls
• Chinese Almond Jelly for dessert
  

This is a spur of the moment dessert that we did on Tuesday night. I was so overwhelmed from work I needed a pick me up dessert. The problem was it was late, and I did not want to bake a cake. Luckily, I had a pack of sponge cake which I bought from Carmen Safeway, and I had cool whip and some frozen blueberries. Delicous and satisfied my craving!

Lunch for the kids today is not really a work of art. I have downscaled my creativity with my son's lunch as he said his friends will jokingly comment on the small size sushi shaped into bears with a bear happy face..or his egg molded like a fish........ So, to save his macho reputation, I have decided to go normal lunch today.... somewhat..LOL

Today's lunch menu: Steamed white rice, steamed mussel with a shot of soy, small salmon flake onigiri sushi, deep fried crispy chicken, macaroni and cheese and for their drink....kool aid......
