This is cacao from Saipan! It was displayed at one of the local vendors on the Saturday market last weekend. My grandmother also has some cacao plants, perhaps I will try and make chocolates before the end of the year.c

"Tao Tao Tasi" means People of the Sea in our island language (Chamorro). My father was a man of the sea. My father passed away on January 30, 2007. This photo is a perfect memory of who my father was, always with a bright million dollar smile!

Dad's Monument Unveiling at Grotto, Saipan (03/08/08). The government established, and built the monument in honor of my father, as he founded 99% of all the famous dive sites tourist enjoy today. My father passed away three years ago, and we miss him dearly!
